Final Thoughts on the Election

First off, congratulations to Barack Obama for doing what many people called impossible 2 years ago. And, I gotta give props to John McCain for the way that he handled the defeat. He was humble and was not bitter, and he spoke on unifying the country which is very important in this day and time.I think that the smartest campaign move that Obama made was linking McCain to George Bush from the get go. He kept hammering that into peoples heads and it really stuck with everyone. Also, McCain choosing Sarah Palin as his V.P. pick was what ultimately destroyed him. Sarah Palin clearly was not ready for such an important position, and the American people recognized that early on, and it shows with how fast his lead in the polls went down a week after making that decision.I thought that Barack Obama gave a great speech tonight, and he focused on the fact that we all need to come together and unite as a country; something that has sorely been missing the past few years. Everyone needs to realize that Rome was not built in a day, and all the economic and financial troubles that we have will not be solved overnight. But with time and patience, and unity we can all work together to solve these problems over time.In closing, I have noticed that there are a lot of people on here who are posting bulletins because they are upset that Obama won. And, all I have to say to that is "Finally" y'all know how we felt the last 8 years watching "W" win the elections. It sucks, doesn't it? lol, j/k. Y'all need to give Barack a chance. The man hasn't even stepped into the White House yet, and y'all are already writing him off.Why don't y'all just Give Change a Chance?
BARACK OBAMA IS MY PRESIDENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
